Ranger® Boats
For more than three and a half decades, Ranger Boats has been known for setting the highest standards in the boat-manufacturing industry. Ranger's commitment to raising the bar consistently delivers consumers more quality, more performance and more features, all at an impressive value.
2006 is no different for this legendary boat builder.
Among the new Ranger boat designs for 2006 are the 183 Ghost and the 2400 Bay Ranger saltwater models. The 183 Ghost is a total-performance skiff specifically built for the shallows. With an 18-foot, 3-inch length and an 863/4-inch overall beam, this thin water glider is focused on fishability. Its shallow draft is reinforced by an extraordinarily quiet hull design, responsive poling traits and solid tracking. Rated for a maximum of 150 horsepower, the 183 Ghost is equipped with the smooth, fluid feel of Sea Star Pro hydraulic steering as well as speed, tach, fuel, trim and water-pressure gauges.
Inside, there's an abundance of space for tackle and gear. While huge, lockable compartments dominate the front deck, the aft deck's oversized storages are so well insulated, they serve double duty as built-in coolers. The broad beam and spacious interior are engineered to make it easy to move quickly from bow to stern. Combined with a full wrap-around deck, working even the most challenging fish has never been easier. Trolling motor batteries are located up front, enhancing accessibility as well as strengthening the overall balance of the rig. With heavy 6-gauge wire and shorter leads, the battery position also helps ensure even more efficient use of battery power.
Elsewhere, a set of aerated livewells/baitwells features the added confidence of a high-speed pickup and in-line filter. Flush-mounted navigation lights, an anchor locker, poling platform, self-bailing cockpit, stainless steel hardware, flush-mounted pushpole holders and upright, level flotation, further define the all-out attitude of the NMMAcertified Ranger 183 Ghost.
For those focused on the rewards of fishing offshore and near shore as well as in the shallows of the backcountry, the versatile 2400 Bay Ranger is an equally impressive design. Touted as the ultimate in bay-boat performance, the 2400 has a shallow-water mindset with responsive acceleration and an incredibly smooth, dry ride. Like the 183 Ghost, Sea Star Pro hydraulic steering also centers this helm while solid-state digital switching along with speed, tach, fuel, trim and water-pressure gauges line the console. A pair of recirculating wells are positioned forward and aft with a high-speed pickup and in-line filter. Combined with an available baitwell/leaning post, the 2400 is built to maintain an abundance of livewell/baitwell capacity. The wide-open layout includes a wealth of storage as well as rod organizers, console rod racks, trim tabs, interior lights and a full-size fold-down bench seat. Fusing total performance with an efficient interior and an ultra fishable design, the 2400 Bay Ranger is clearly built for the ultimate bay-boat experience.

Four Winns® Boats
Onboard a boat, there's no room for style for style's sake. Everything onboard must also serve its purpose - and preferably, serve it well. Perhaps that's why Four Winns express cruisers continue to capture the hearts and minds of so many serious boaters. Four Winns, which is headquartered in Michigan, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, and its design prowess is surely evident in the company's latest fleet of Vista express cruisers.
Consider Four Winns' newest Vista model, the 318. Simply stunning in terms of its style, the new 318 is packed with practical features: dual adjustable-helm seat; concealed but convenient storage areas; and a space-saving cabin-entry step system. Unlike many boats of its size, the 318 standard equipment list includes air conditioning, a coffeemaker, electric engine hatch, cockpit icemaker or refrigerator, flatscreen TV/DVD player in the cabin and a six-month subscription to the onboard SIRIUS satellite stereo system.
The 318 will be exhibited during this year's Miami International Boat Show. As part of its 30th Anniversary Celebration, Four Winns will offer substantial savings on select Vista models. Details are available online at www.fourwinns.com or www.boatshowdeals. com.
On an even grander scale, Four Winns will also showcase its flagship model, the 378 Vista. Decked out with the latest in electronics and décor packages, the 378 will also give boaters a chance to see (and sea trial) the revolutionary, new diesel-powered Volvo IPS (Inboard Performance System). The revolutionary forward-facing prop drive system, with its host of benefits, impressed crowds during last year's Miami International Boat Show, where Four Winns helped debut the technology in North America.
The 378 Vista has earned a place of distinction among seaworthy express cruisers, having been designed, in part, by the renowned naval architecture firm, C. Raymond Hunt Associates. The 378 Vista, on display during the Miami show, will feature both the practical and the elegant: a cockpit sole liner made from Flexiteek, which looks like teak but requires little maintenance; stylish Sunbrella seat cushions; dual refrigerators; and a versatile cabin configuration that includes a highly accommodating seating arrangement plus a private stateroom option.
Boaters will find the 378 Vista is replete with standard equipment generally not found on comparable crafts, including a central vacuuming system for the cabin; central air; two flatscreen TV/DVDs; and an aft shower for warm or cold freshwater rinse offs. Even the swim platform has been thoughtfully illuminated for night boarding and festive ambience.
In addition to its Vista express cruiser segment, Four Winns manufactures sport boats, deck boats, and cuddy cabins - 26 models in all, ranging from 171/2 to 411/4 feet and from $16,000 to $400,000-plus.
Among the exclusive advantages of Four Winns trailerable boats are proprietary SureLoad trailers, which are custom-matched to the boats' hulls; AquaFlex, a premium vinyl made specifically to withstand the rigors of a marine environment; and the advanced performance of Stable-Vee running surface designs. All Four Winns boats are backed by Winning Edge, a potent owner protection plan.
Now through March 31, Four Winns is offering incentives of up to $9,923 on selected models (in the U.S. and Canada only; dealer participation and inventory availability may vary.) For more information, visit the company's website, www.fourwinns.com
Seaswirls® - Welcome Aboard the Ultimate Ride
Inspiration comes in many forms. Seaswirls is boats. That's why its passion is building a superior line of sport and fishing boats only few manufacturers can match in terms of strength, durability and performance. Every boat that rolls off our factory line is designed to meet or exceed U.S. and Canadian Coast Guard regulations and carries the certification seal of the National Marine Manufacturers Association. Of course, the most exacting standards its boats must stand up to are those established by Seaswirl backed by a 10-year structured limited hull warranty. But, building boats isn't all Seaswirl does. Seaswirl also builds solid relationships with our customers. From the buying process to actual boat ownership, Seaswirl gives every customer the same attention to detail thats given to each boat.
At the core of every Seaswirl boat is an innovative Fibercore One-Piece Stringer System, pioneered by the company in the 1960s. Versatile, capable and flexible enough to handle whatever is throw at them, every Seaswirl boat is equipped with this innovative piece of technology. Custom-made by craftsmen for every model, each stringer system is designed to have a tailored fit, ensuring unsurpassed strength, durability and performance. And, unlike some manufacturers who use wood in their stringers, Seaswirls systems are made of hand-laid fiberglass and filled with noise and vibration-dampening foam. This helps keep the hull rigid, eliminating vibrations and providing a smoother, quieter ride. In fact, our stringer system leads the industry in terms of high-density strength.
Family-friendly amenities. Cutting-edge technology. Intelligent designs. It's no wonder the Sport Boats and Saltwater Stripers continue to turn heads and hook fish all over the world. Seaswirls complete 2006 Sport Boat line promises tons of standard features, like elbow room stretching to the horizon. The new Striper boats are built for just one thing fishing.
At this year's Miami boat show, Seaswirl will feature the latest additions to the Striper family: the 2152 Bay Boat and the 2901 Walk Around with enclosed pilot house and twin diesel engines. The 2152 Bay Boat is a dreamboat come true for warm weather anglers. It features light console baitwells, pebble skid resistant surfaces and large fish boxes. The 2901 Walk Around, the Bay Boat's much bigger cousin, is redefining what a serious fishing boat should look like, act like and yes, fish like. Inside, this dreamboat features 6 feet, 5 inches of headroom in the cabin, a spacious galley, porcelain marine head and shower, and more. Equipped with a fully enclosed pilot house, this larger than life vessel is built for serious offshore action. And, with an available twin diesel engine package, you'll slice through swells with ease.
So whether your idea of a good time involves cruising or fishing, a boat from Seaswirl is the boat for you. It's time to see how the other two-thirds live. It's time to abandon land.

Glastron® Celebrates
At Miami with Historical Exhibit, Special Promotions, and Collector's Edition Model
There's probably no fiberglass boat company with a legacy quite like Glastron. They are recognized for countless innovations such as two-tone gel coat, the SSV hull, and VEC boat-building technology. They've designed hundreds of memorable models, including the Batboat, numerous sport boats for Ian Fleming's James Bond movies, and Glastron/Carlson performance boats. And over the past five decades, Glastron's list of owners has read like a Who's Who of celebrities: Elvis Presley, Aristotle Onassis, Lyndon Johnson, and even England's Royal Family.
Glastron's colorful history is the focus of a special 50th anniversary display at its Miami International Boat Show exhibit, where visitors can reminisce about everything from the introduction of the first Glastron tri-hull runabout to the outrageous styling of 007's hardtop Glastron in Moonraker.
But that's just where the excitement begins. During the Miami Boat Show, boaters will be able to take advantage of three special Glastron 50th Anniversary promotions:
|
The other stars of this year's Glastron exhibit will certainly be its 2006 product lineup. New models for '06 include:
MX Bowriders All-new for 2006, these 17- and 19-foot bowriders are ideal for first-time and value-conscious family boaters. Each model features VEC technology, a unitized fiberglass deck and floor, plus sport seating. What's more, all models are specially priced for the Miami Boat Show. The MX 175-with 135-horsepower Volvo Penta sterndrive and EZ Loader trailer is $11,988 (plus freight and dealer prep). SX Bowriders The quintessential family bowriders, Glastron's SX bowriders have defined and redefined the runabout category in recent years. This year's SX Series has been completely redesigned and includes the outboard-powered SX 170, plus the SX 175 and SX 195 sterndrive models. GS 259 Sport Cruiser The GS 259 takes everything you want in cruiser comforts and combines them with the agile, runabout-like performance you've come to expect from Glastron. Topside, the cockpit is both functional and spacious. Below deck, both fore and aft cabins are roomy, the galley is well appointed, and the cherry wood cabinetry throughout adds warmth and beauty. This all-new model is a must-see. Larson® Boats
Larson and Genmar have now introduced an innovative technology. Virtual Engineered Composites, or VEC technology, is the most significant achievement in fiberglass boat building. The closed-mold VEC process significantly cuts production time, from one full day to as little as 70 minutes, and is better for the environment because 90 percent less styrene is released during the laminating process. Clearly, VEC technology is on track to become the standard for making recreational runabout boats. Offering 23 models that range from 18- to 37- feet, Larson uses only the highest-grade materials and the most advanced technology. That construction, combined with fine details and finishing touches, is why Larson Boats is one of the leading manufacturers of pleasure boats. Triumph® Boats
Millions of dollars and nearly a decade of perfection later, Triumph is producing boats that go far beyond the physical limitations of aluminum and fiberglass. With its patented Roplene (rotomolded polyethylene) technology, Triumph offers nine models ranging from 12-21 feet - and bigger boats are on the drawing board. The end product is a virtually indestructible boat with ultra-low maintenance that never needs waxing, buffing or polishing. For 2006, Triumph has taken theWorld's Toughest Boat and made it among the most comfortable. Early Triumphs were always known for their durability and toughness, not for their amenities. This year every model has been completely upgraded, and benchmarks are being set in conveniences uncommon to fishing boats. Ample seating with top-of-theline upholstery and high quality canvas packages are already gaining attention. Benefits to Owning the World's Toughest Boat.

Wellcraft® Makes a Splash at Miami International Boat Show with New Bay, Offshore Boats
The 215 and 195 hulls draw only 10 inches of water to allow for impressive shallow running. Wellcraft's advanced design technology makes these hull designs run smooth and dry from the shallows to rough bay crossings. The impressive options list of the Bay series offers nearly endless possibilities for the owner to make the boat his or her own. Key options include the following: aft bench seat with removable backrest, T-top with rod holders, bow cushions, pull-up stainless cleats, cockpit bolsters, casting seat, jack plate, leaning post, poling platform, tackle center, trim tabs, raw-water washdown even a removable windshield rail for tight garage fits. Last October the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) awarded Wellcraft Boats its annual Marine Industry CSI award, a recognition of excellence in customer satisfaction for the Fiberglass Outboard Boats category. As with any boat manufacturer that is committed to ongoing product improvements, specifications, options and equipment are subject to change without notice. Marquis™ Yachts
The Carver Yacht Group launched Marquis in 2003. Marquis is a collaboration with the naval design firm of Nuvolari-Lenard from Venice, Italy. Nuvolari-Lenard is internationally renowned as specialist in the design and construction of high-end production and custom yachts. Their reputation for cutting-edge design is clearly evident in the Marquis' exquisitely Euro-styled, state-of-the-art exterior. In order to launch a world-class motor yacht, you need a world-class development team. Carver's own internal development team is comprised of veteran engineers, propulsion experts and modelers who represent literally decades of large-yacht experience with committed expertise. Nuvolari-Lenard collaborated with Carver in the development of the Marquis class of distinctively sculpted exterior architecture. The first entry for the Marquis class was the 59 Marquis in 2003 followed by the 65 Marquis in 2004. This has proven to be the most successful launch in the marine industry of yachts 50-feet-plus. Now the decidedly elegant Marquis class introduces two new yachts, the 86 and 78. The larger Marquis' will be built at the Carver Yacht Group's Fano, Italy facilities.
Marquis represents a revolutionary alliance of art and engineering, bringing together the best of Italian design and American innovation. Exquisite in form and structurally sound, with superior sea-keeping abilities, Marquis represents a distinct new chapter in motoryacht evolution. For more information, visit www.marquisyachts. com. Carver® Yachts
To meet growing demand, Carter and Verhagen formed the Carver Boat Company, creating the name by pairing the first three letters of their last names. In 1956, the company set up shop in Pulaski, Wis., launched three new runabout models and began marketing its handsome mahogany crafts. Carver transitioned to fiberglass in the 1970s and committed its resources and future to large luxury yachts. In the 1980s, the company added a 30-foot aft-cabin model to its fleet and began working to expand its market beyond the Midwest by building a dealer network. While remaining true to its commitment of delivering maximum accommodations, the mid-90s saw a fundamental shift in Carver's styling strategy. An aggressive new styling combined with high-volume interiors in a compelling new way, leading to the introduction of two breakthrough models, the 350 Mariner and the 530 Voyager Pilothouse. The 530 Voyager proved to be one of Carver's most successful models, with hull No. 300 delivered in fall 2005. The turn of the century saw Carver introduce its largest yacht up to that time - the 570 Voyager Pilothouse. This successful, larger version of the 530 put Carver into a whole new category. With the strong presence in the 50-footplus market, the Carver Yacht Group focused on building the next generation of Carver Yachts. The design team at Carver partnered with leading design firm BMW Design Group to help influence and style the new 43 Motor Yacht. The 43 Motor Yacht with its innovative windows and its dramatic exterior design makes it debut during the winter boat shows. Carver Yachts continues to dominate the market with new product introductions. This year proves no exception with the new 33 Super Sport Mid-Cabin, the 43 Motor Yacht and the latest technology using Volvo's IPS Drive System with the 38 Super Sport and the all-new 42 Super Sport.
Carver is the company's signature brand, providing style, contemporary design, and unparalleled exterior and interior accommodations. From the fully featured 33 Super Sport to the 57 Voyager, Carver delivers quality and value; Carver Yachts has maintained its success by blending a tradition of fine craftsmanship with a clear vision of the future. The Carver Yacht Group continues with dedicated focus on what has made it an industry-leading company building only the finest motor yachts in the world. |

GXL 205 Collector's Edition Unlike what you often see with limited edition boats from other manufacturers, this isn't just another warmed-over model with a few bells, whistles and aSpecial Edition decal added. Glastron's GXL 205 Collector's Edition is an entirely new boat. Its striking copper metallic finish is reminiscent of the classic Glastrons of the '70s and '80s, but it looks even better in this 2006 rendition. Upscale amenities abound, including a walk-through transom, full U-seating, wraparound bucket seats with flip-up bolsters, Clarion 4-speaker audio system with CD, woodgrain tilt steering wheel, stainless steel cup holders, docking lights, and telescopic boarding ladders fore and aft.
Larson Boats is a legend in boat building, dating back to 1913 when Paul Larson built his first wooden fishing boat. Since that time, Larson has survived the test of time by adapting new technologies to continue producing some of the most popular, affordable and dependable family boats on the market.
In the mid-1990s, Triumph Boats, originally known as Logic Marine, began prototyping a radical new boat construction for commercial and rescue craft in the South Pacific.
None of these benefits are more evident than with the totally new 195 cc, featuring a brand-new deep-V 20-foot center console that boasts amenities never before seen on boats of this size. Deluxe Pompanette helm seating, heavy-duty 316 SS bow rail with anchor pulpit and oversized, insulated fish boxes are all standard fare on this incredible new model.
What's new at Wellcraft after 50 industry- leading years? Plenty! For starters, there's the all-new Bay boat series. The Wellcraft 215 Bay and 195 Bay models for 2006 offer everything a great bay boat should: an 8-foot-6-inch beam; a fully lined selfbailing cockpit, huge casting decks fore and aft, a lighted console baitwell, transom release well, plenty of rod and dry storage, optional trolling motor, pre-wired, and charging system, and a choice of clean, quiet Yamaha four-strokes.
The larger Wellcraft models come with a choice of a rebate or a free Raymarine electronics package. For example, Wellcraft's flagship model, the 360 Coastal, is available with two 12.1-inch color displays with chart plotter, HDFI fish finder, VHF radio, in-hull transducer, Sea Talk networking and video integration capabilities, autopilot and radar a $27,510 value or a $12,000 rebate.
Marquis is a stunning and agile new class of motor yacht, born from the fusion of world-class design and American yacht-building technology.
Her sculpted profile is absolutely breathtaking, with timeless lines and graceful curves setting her apart from any other yacht on the water. Her massive interior is adorned with rich exotic woods and leather. Imported marble and granite grace her timeless lines. But beauty is nothing without functionality, and the Marquis class proves it with her pedigree. With luxurious staterooms, five-star amenities, innovative technology and unrivalled craftsmanship, she's everything you could have imagined in a yacht and more.
What began as a hobby in a Milwaukee, Wis., garage in 1954 is today one of the world's premier luxury yacht brands. Carver Yachts got its start when Charlie Carter and George Verhagen began crafting custom-made mahogany runabouts in their spare time. Well made and attractively designed, the affordable boats were an instant success.
Carver Yacht Group's two brands of Carver and Marquis Yachts have made Carver an icon in the boating industry. Carver is the No. 1-selling brand of command- bridge motor yachts in the United States in the 32- to 55-foot market. They also dominate the large-yacht market. In 2004 Carver led the U.S. in the 55-foot-plus motoryacht segment, including all yachts of all types valued above $1 million.
