2005 Yacht & Brokerage Show adds 30,000 square foot floating pavilion

This year the Yacht & BrokerageShow, on the Indian CreekWaterway at Collins Avenue onMiami Beach, is adding a 30,000square foot floating pavilion.

The new on-water setting will featurean array of yachting accessoriesand services at the 17th annual show,which will run Feb. 17-21.

The decision to create the newspace was based on a number of key factors according to Andrew Doole,vice president of YachtingPromotions, Inc., producers of theshow.

This specially-designed areaallows more, new high-profileexhibitors to take part in the showsuch as electronic manufacturers,yacht builders, designers, shipyards,tower makers, financial institutionsand a host of other products andservices from companies fromaround the world, said Doole.Importantly, all accessories andservices will be located in one beautifulweather- proof area which willmake it extremely easy for visitorsnavigating the show.

The 2005 exhibition will includemore than 550 new and pre-ownedvessels in water ranging in size from30 to over 160 feet. Superyachts,express cruisers, sportfishing boats,family cruisers and ocean-goingtrawlers from $100,000 to more than$25 million will fill the show site.

Show visitors can enjoy liveentertainment, international foodand music, all taking place on thefloating cocktail barges.

There will be free continuousshuttle bus service to and from theMiami International Boat ShowsMiami Beach Convention Centerlocation.
